Our Alternative Investment Group is one of the region’s most highly respected teams, focuses on private equity and mezzanine investments throughout MENA and Turkey.  Since 2005 we have worked to seek, invest in and enhance the value of growth capital mid-size companies in growing sectors. This approach has delivered consistent performance despite global turbulences and market uncertainty. The team manages USD 400 million as of December 31, 2011 in total commitments across two funds, a private equity and a mezzanine fund.

The collective strength of our team is built upon an extensive regional and sectoral expertise and bound by cohesiveness of a long history of investing as a team. We operate from Dubai, Istanbul and Kuwait to seek opportunities in MENA and Turkey. Our funds have invested in 11 separate transactions in 6 sectors across the Gulf and Turkey, with 5 successful exists to date. We pride ourselves in utilizing an active investment model to investing, whereby we drive value creation efforts by providing our portfolio companies with strategic advice, operational know-how, governance enhancement and efficiently institutionalizing mid-size companies. The team has helped drive revenue growth, profit expansion and expense controls across all of our portfolio companies.
